Sidelined by society, some of the homeless men in North Vancouver, Canada, have managed to transform their necessary daily bottle collecting into a sport of sorts - extreme shopping cart racing! Their primary source of income is now bringing a bit of fun into their lives, not to mention a bit of exuberance and a touch of risk, but there is much hurt under the surface, for various reasons. The filmmakers do their best to bring out the humanity in this group of often forgotten about people, and in the process, they attempt to explain why this new-found sport has been such a draw with this particular group of guys.
