Frontline: Sex Slaves

A heartbreaking documentary about the hundreds of thousands of women who are trafficked from Eastern Europe and former Soviet states every year, this film also follows the personal journey of Virel who is determined to get his wife back, before she is lost to the world of traffickers for good. There are many other personal stories hit upon, from girls who have been trafficked & who are now free, and there’s even one trafficker featured, Vlad, who gives an honest assessment of how the kidnap and enslavement of Virel's wife came about. We also meet Olga. We see her selling off some girls on one of her latest trips through Odessa en route to Turkey.
