The United Nations Climate Panel says man's use of fossil fuels is jeopardising the future of our planet, so they set up the Inter-Governmental Panel On Climate Change (IPCC) in 1998 to provide the decision-makers and others interested in climate change with an objective source of information. Along with Al Gore, the IPCC shared the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize for their efforts to build up and disseminate greater knowledge about man-made climate change, and to lay the foundations for the measures that are needed to counteract such change. This film simply sets out the argument that they got it totally wrong! For the other side of the argument, check out 'A Burning Question', and some further views supporting climate change, albeit due to sun spots, can be found in 'Global Dimming'. |
