Produced for Forced Migration Online and Oxford University, this film documents the journey of Adel Hakimjan from his home in Gulja, East Turkistan (Xinjiang), China through Pakistan and Afghanistan, his detention in Guantanamo Bay, and exile in Albania and Sweden. Hakimjan, a Chinese Uighur, was abused, persecuted, traded, and falsely imprisoned as part of the ongoing 'War On Terror'. Subsequent to this film being made, it has been reported that he has been given residency in Sweden.
