Do you remember the three American hikers (Shane Bauer, Josh Fattal & Sarah Shourd) who had entered Iran accidently in July 2009, whilst exploring the hills of Iraqi Kurdistan? Apparently they had ventured over the invisible border, into Iran, without their knowledge, and they have subsequently been imprisoned by the Iranian regime, most probably over the international political stand-off between the Iranians, and the Obama administration. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad says that they are US security service spies on a mission to infiltrate Iranian territory, but their families and friends paint a very different picture, one of a trio of young folk who are very interested in civil rights and humanitarian issues, and who were just on a travelling expedition, checking out different parts of the World, similar to how so many other young western people have done. This film features some background info, through news clips, and an interview with Sarah Shourd's mother, who speaks candidly, and emotively, about her growing fear that people are forgetting about these three vulnerable imprisoned travellers.
