The Iceman Confesses - Secrets Of A Mafia Hitman
Film by: HBO / Arthur Ginsberg
Year: 2001
Length: 42 mins
Hosted By: Google Video

After a childhood of beatings from his father, Richard Kuklisnski murdered his first person at the age of 18. Kuklisnski burned a man alive in his car, after he had embarrassed him in a bar in front of friends. By the age of 25, he began working for the mafia, as a minder and assassin, and he eventually killed over 100 people. This film - which is mostly based around two interviews with Kuklisnski in 1991 & 2001 - tells his account of those murders. Kuklisnski is open about how he went about killing people, without any remorse, whilst living a seemly normal family life. Those close to him were unaware of his killing spree, but during these interviews he does show a very cold side to his personality, which should have been more noticeable than it apparently was. The Iceman killed 100 people by shooting them, burning them, and by poisoning them, but he still remains relatively unknown to the public at large. Kuklinski died suspiciously in prison, aged 70, on March 5, 2006. Some believe that it was a mafia hit by the Gambino family, to stop him from testifying against them.
