As a spectacle, this film is huge. Not only has Peter Joseph put his side across very well, but he has created an impressive piece of cinema in the process. His film explores how those that are in power have been controlling the masses for ever. It attempts to prove this by examining how religions, and the literal stories behind them, are all quite similar, leading us to think that they may be manufactured to achieve the aim of control. This film also sets out to prove how the modern day terrorist attacks have been used to give even more power, to those in power. And the film then links certain banking families with the mechanism of power, who, the producers say, have enticed us into never-ending debt, keeping us in eternal shackles. |
