[2] "The Al-Qaida and Taliban Sanctions Committee" (UN Resolution 1267 aka 'The 1267 Committee') Set up by the United Nations, and endorsed by the European Union, this committee has identified about 500 individuals and entity's which it says are linked to Al-Qaeda and The Taliban. All those listed have arms embargoes applied to them. View the full list here.
[3] In February 1992, the Organisation on Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) requested that all OSCE participating states (56 participating States from Europe, Central Asia and North America) should introduce an embargo on... "all deliveries of weapons and munitions to forces engaged in combat in the Nagorno-Karabakh area". This embargo remains in force.
[4] With a United Nations ban on items which could be used in the development of nuclear weapon and missile delivery systems already in place, the UN then passed Resolution 1747, which also bans the export of arms from Iran, however, imports of arms into do not appear to be affected by this ban.
