Largest Lakes In Europe

This list below includes both freshwater and saltwater lakes. Some important points to note:
# If it were a natural lake, the Kuybyshev Reservoir (6,450 sq km / 2,490 sq miles - Russia) would be at number 3 in the chart below. A further four reservoirs would also make the European Top 10, if man-made lakes were to be included; Rybinsk Reservoir (Number 5 - 4,580 sq km / 1,770 sq miles - Russia), Tsimlyansk Reservoir (Number 8 - 2,702 sq km / 1,043 sq miles - Russia), Kremenchuk-Oskol Reservoir (Number 9 - 2,250 sq km / 868 sq miles - Ukraine) and Kakhovka Reservoir (Number 10 - 2,155 sq km / 832 sq miles - Ukraine).
# No saltwater lakes have made the European Top 10.
