This is an alphabetical list of the widely-recognised overseas territories in North America. This list includes inhabited and uninhabited territories, some of which have broad-ranging self-governing powers, but many are also governed directly by their respective foreign administrating governments. Both Bajo Nuevo Bank (Petrel Islands) & Seranilla Bank are administered by two separate countries, Colombia and the United States.
