After beating Morocco and Egypt in an all-African bidding war, South Africa will become the first ever African nation to host the FIFA World Cup Finals in the summer of 2010. The 64-game soccer bonanza, featuring 32 of the World's best teams, will take place from June the 11th to July the 11th. Italy are the current champions, after winning in the 2006 German-based tournament, but they will face stiff opposition from the other favourites, including Brazil, Argentina, Spain, Germany, France, England and Portugal amongst others.

Welcome to the 19th FIFA World Cup Finals!
