What is the Least Populous Country in the World?
Answer:

The least populous country in the World is either the Pitcairn Islands, or the Vatican City, depending on your perspective.

The United Nations estimates that on January 1st 2010, the Pitcairn Islands, an Oceanian island group, had a population of just 50. This UK overseas territory could be deemed the least populous nation.

The least populous fully-recognised country in the World is the Vatican City, with a population of just 785. This could also be deemed the least populous country, and is most widely considered to be the country with the smallest population in the World.

Our population is growing at a massive rate, and it looks set to continue, which will bring a whole host of new problems, while making some current issues much harder to deal with. Particularly important issues include finding better ways to utilse the land at our disposal, creating better living conditions for many, and working out what to do with waste
