The world's most famous Atheist gives this presentation about his favourite subject matter - The God Delusion. His best-selling book of the same title has cemented the term to his name, and even though he has received a vicious and prolonged backlash because of it, the Oxford lecturer remains devoted to getting this story out there. This particular speech was part of a sell-out US tour by the British Professor, and in it he does a good job of explaining his own thoughts on the realities of our religions. Amongst other things, he believes that modern-day religions dumb down populations with blind faith, whilst hampering any major advancement of our civilisation by not acknowledging and embracing our latest scientific discoveries.
