| Julian Assange is a 1971-born Australian internet activist and independent journalist, who is best known for founding and working with Wikileaks, a whistleblower website which publishes information and data from unofficial sources. Wikileaks works tirelessly for the many secretive sources which approach them with data, which usually sheds a negative light on the activities of either a major government, or corporation. Before founding Wikileaks, Assange studied mathematics, philosophy and neuroscience. Assange does not have a permanent home, and travels from country to country carrying out his work, whilst reportedly sleeping on various armchairs and couches. He is a man on a very particular mission. |
