Malcolm X Speeches |

|
| Born on May the 19th, 1925, as Malcolm Little, in Omaha, Nebraska, Malcolm X was a tireless speaker who campaigned for equal rights for the African-American community. He stood out from the many other civil rights campaigners of the time, due to his determination, which was marked by an ethos which often bordered on citing violence. Malcolm X - also known as El-Hajj Malik El-Shabazz - believed that African-Americans had a right to defend themselves against their white oppressors, and with arms if necessary. For his beliefs, he was gunned down in Manhattan's Audubon Ballroom, on February 21, 1965. |
